AS204994 is a research network used to learn about BGP, Networking, Peering, AnyCast and VPN. We use the following:

• Debian Linux as our main routing OS on VMs
• Bird as our main routing engine
• A mix of Zerotier and WireGuard for interconnections using OSPF on top… more on at eventually…
• Git, GitHub and Gogs for configuration files
• Krypton for managing SSH keys on machines
• WSL on Windows 10 for connecting to machines
• Ansible for managing peering configs
• NGinx for hosting static pages.
• This site is built using Hugo and hosted on Cloudflare Pages.
• Cloudflare for performance tuning, SSL, DDoS protection, etc. We also have direct peering with them though KleyReX and the 4 DE-CIX locations.
